Message from the President

Dear Compatriots:

 

It’s 2023! Let’s hope it turns out to be a good year for all of us. I’d like to welcome our new leadership team, following last month’s election, but I especially wish to thank FP Jon Coulter and the previous officers for their work in making our Chapter as fine and effective as it is, and giving us a great base to build upon. We’ll continue to try and make it better.

 

John Baldridge, Jon Coulter, and Sid Moore are our communications team and they are working to better keep everyone abreast of what’s happening or what will happen, on Facebook, on the website, and what you receive via email and snail mail. Likewise, we’re reviewing our existing database to ensure that we have every member’s correct contact information and no one falls through the crack.

 

We plan to continue our quarterly meetings, and notices will go out about six weeks in advance so everyone has plenty of time to square away their calendars. The first meeting this year will feature our perennial favorite historian, Brady Crytzer, and will be held in early March at the Airport Marriott. A notice will go out in a couple of weeks.

 

Also, as an FYI, the PA Society will be hosting the 2024 National SAR Conference in Lancaster, Pa, beginning on July 10, 2024. General details are available, but you might wish to make a calendar note if you’re interested in attending.
